Shameless Plug: Advent
Greetings!
As we approach Advent, we are in need of additional funds for the atrium to build our infancy narratives. There are 5 of them and we will build the dioramas from plywood and paint peg dolls (already in progress!) for our version (you can find on our Instagram, @montpelieratrium, examples of works from other atriums for context).
In addition, I have been working on our Timeline of the History of God, embroidering a cloth version from materials I had at home (videoed in the recent Instagram post). I am nearing the end and need to buy backing for it and felt/glue to make the blank version that the children will use for their work.
We also recently needed glass decanters and pitcher for gesture work in the Level I atrium.
We need $200 ASAP for these works/materials.
Here is a material breakdown of what we need/would be spending on:
$40 for 0.25” sanded plywood
$15 for peg dolls
$30 for paints and micron pens for painting peg dolls
$8 for 6 1” hinges for dioramas
$35 for canvas drop cloth to back timeline
$15 for felt
$30 for glass containers for gesture work
$25 for thread, glue, & additional sewing supplies
